Eclipse Fun!
It’s no April Fool’s joke, the sun is going to disappear on April 8 and we’ll all be cast into total darkness! Well, that would be the lucky ones who are in the path of the total solar eclipse…and fortunately the sun will return after a brief 4 or 5 minute abscence. If you happen to be one of the lucky ones to experience this astronomical phenomenon snap a few pictures, put them on a thumb drive and bring them to this month’s Club Meeting. We’ll review the images and discuss all of the oddities that you might have experienced during the eclipse.
And that gets me to wondering if anyone out there has been scuba diving during a total solar eclipse…that would be a very interesting activity to undertake. Someone should investigate this possibility and propose a Club Trip to experience the next solar eclipse with our underwater friends!
