Another Friday 13th has arrived and the Jason’s are set to explore a new destination - Downtown Denton! The group will meet for lunch and then try some new watering holes around the Denton square. This is a club tradition and you simply have to call in “sick” on Friday afternoon and join the festivities. Here’s the planned route/schedule (note that this is an update from what was published in the October Newsletter and the Jason’s reserve the right to change the schedule or locations at any time):
11:00am Board the north-bound A-Train from the DART Trinity Mills station in Carrollton (you will need a $10 Regional Day pass which will cover both the A-Train and DART train fees) (if you are DARTing to Trinity Mills you need to arrive on the 10:44am or earlier Green Line train to transfer to the A-Train)
11:32am Arrive in Downton Denton
11:45am Lunch at LSA Burger Co (south side of Denton square, 113 W Hickory St) - we will meet upstairs
1:00pm Depart LSA and visit these establishments:
Hooligan’s (104 N. Locust St) - optional stop for some Halloween themed shots!
Denton Eastside (117 E Oak St)
Oak St Draft House and and Cocktail Parlor (308 E Oak St)
Mellow Mushroom (217 E Hickory St)
Harvest House (331 E Hickory St)
4:11pm Board south-bound A-Train at Downtown Denton Station
4:56pm Transfer from A-Train to DART Green Line at Trinity Mills Station
5:35pm Arrive at DART West End Station
5:45pm Happy Hour at Dick’s Last Resort (2211 N Lamar St)
7:00pm (ish) ???? whatever the Jason’s decide… possibilities include Green Line to Deep Ellum or Red/Blue Line to Trinity Hall
